All the Greek Verbs. (Tutti i Verbi Greci) by N Marinone  A conjugation of Greek verbs with over 13,000 forms altogether. Though in a rather dull looking format, thoroughly essential.

  Basic Greek Vocabulary by Cheadle

Classical Greek Prose- A basic vocabulary by Malcolm Campbell (BCP £7.95). A basic vocabulary of 1500 of the most common words, divided into nouns, adjectives, verbs and adverbs. Extremely useful. Malcolm Campbell also does a series of four prose reading books '...for post-beginners'. All have commentary and vocabulary

Greek for Beginners by L.A. Wilding. Despite what I said above, Greek for Beginners remains the most popular choice for beginning Greek.  It is weak on grammar, however, and is best used in conjunction with North and Hillard's Primer of Greek Grammar

   Outline of Greek Accidence by H. UsherExcellent aid for Greek grammar; do beware the colour coding however, there isn't any, despite the contents claiming there is! 

   Primer of Greek Grammar by Abbott and Mansfield (Duckworth £8.95). Not the most thorough grammar but ideal for A level needs. It is often used as the grammar for Wilding's 'Greek for beginners'

   Oxford Grammar of Classical Greek Greek Grammar by James Moorwood. Superb new Ancient Greek grammar. Clear and informative, this grammar is designed for the modern-day student and consequently has clear and uncomplicated explanations.
